For Zoe, therapy starts with helping people feel safe enough to be themselves. She understands that reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step and believes that feeling genuinely heard, accepted and understood is where meaningful therapy begins. Her aim is to create a warm, relaxed and non-judgemental space where clients can explore whatever has brought them to counselling at a pace that feels right for them.

With over 15 years’ experience supporting children, young people and families across education, mental health and community settings, Zoe works with children (8+), young people and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, life transitions and neurodiversity, including ADHD and autism.

As an integrative counsellor, Zoe tailors therapy to each individual, drawing on person-centred, relational, psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches. She believes there is no “one size fits all” in therapy and works collaboratively with each client to understand their experiences, helping them make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward that feels right for them.

Whether someone is coming to counselling for the first time or returning after a break, Zoe understands that taking the first step can feel daunting. She offers a calm and supportive space to talk openly, reflect and make sense of their experiences. She believes therapy doesn’t have to have all the answers straight away, sometimes having the right person alongside you is where change begins.
