Sunita is a highly skilled mental health counsellor and psychotherapist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults and adults. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents, with specialist training rooted in psychoanalytic thinking, child development and attachment. Her work is informed by a deep understanding of how early experiences, relationships and emotional patterns can shape wellbeing, behaviour and self-esteem throughout life. She is also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works in accordance with its Ethical Framework, ensuring her practice is safe, ethical, reflective and client-centred.

Sunita’s therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative and adaptable. She integrates psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking with evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, psychoeducation, behavioural strategies and emotional regulation work. She also works in a culturally sensitive way, recognising the importance of identity, culture, relationships and lived experience and how these can impact one’s emotional wellbeing.

Alongside her specialist work with children and adolescents, Sunita also supports adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, confidence difficulties and emotional overwhelm. Her versatile training and broad clinical experience across age groups enable her to tailor therapy to each client’s developmental, emotional and practical needs.
