Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP)
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change.
Samantha Dalton is a qualified integrative psychotherapist offering counselling to adults in Coventry, Northampton and online via Zoom. She provides a warm, safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at their own pace.
Samantha has experience supporting people from diverse cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds and is committed to providing an inclusive and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment where every client feels heard, respected and accepted.
Her experience includes working with clients affected by trauma, domestic and sexual abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder and emotional distress. She has experience providing both short-term and longer-term counselling and understands the importance of adapting therapy to each individual’s needs and goals.
As an integrative therapist, Samantha draws on a range of therapeutic approaches while keeping the person-centred therapeutic relationship at the heart of her practice. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate and trauma-informed, supporting clients to develop greater self-understanding, process difficult experiences, build healthier coping strategies and work towards meaningful change.
Samantha believes that people can begin to heal when they feel genuinely heard, accepted and supported. Rather than offering quick solutions or telling clients what to do, she works alongside them to create a trusting therapeutic relationship where they can explore their experiences safely and at their own pace.
