Sahar is a psychologist with over ten years’ experience supporting people with emotional, physical, and mental health needs. Originally trained and working in Iran, she now lives in Leicester and is completing an MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Derby. She offers a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and understood.

Sahar works with children and adults, adapting her approach to suit each person’s age and needs. She draws on Person-Centred principles, Motivational Interviewing, and CBT-informed (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) techniques helping clients understand the links between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and develop practical tools for change. Alongside her work with adults, she has experience supporting children, including children with autism and additional needs, in areas such as communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour. Her work is grounded in empathy, with a focus on building self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.

  • Low mood and depression
  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Emotional regulation and behavioural difficulties
