Kate is an integrative counsellor with extensive experience working with both adults and children across a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. The approach is rooted in the belief that one size does not fit all, and will draw from a range of therapeutic modals – Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, and Attachment Theory to tailor support to each individual’s needs.
With adults, Kate offers a safe, confidential space to explore difficulties such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions. Her work with children incorporates a creative, age-appropriate approach, helping young clients make sense of their emotions and build emotional resilience in a supportive environment.
As an Integrative therapist, Kate values the therapeutic relationship as central to the healing process. You will be offered a warm, non-judgmental, collaborative space to explore thoughts and feelings at a pace that suits you. Whether you are seeking short- or long-term exploration she provides a flexible and compassionate approach.
Kate is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adheres to their ethical framework for good practice. This includes a commitment to ongoing professional growth and engaging in continued professional development by attending specialist training, workshops and clinical supervision.
