Kate is a compassionate Person-Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She provides a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts and feelings. While her primary approach is person-centred, she also incorporates solution-focused techniques when appropriate, particularly in her work with young people.

Kate works with children (ages 10 and up) as well as adults, offering a client-led approach that allows each session to be guided by the client’s own needs and goals. She creates a supportive environment to help clients find the answers they seek, sometimes using creative tools to aid in self-expression and comfort, especially for younger clients.

With children and young people (ages 10-18), Kate understands the value of having someone outside of family and school to confide in, offering a safe space to discuss struggles and challenges. Reflecting on her own youth, Kate wishes she had had someone to talk to during her teenage years, and this motivates her to be that support for others.

Kate also works with adults, drawing on her own experiences with counselling as an adult. She understands the power of a supportive conversation and has found ways to cope with life’s challenges through her own therapeutic journey. Her goal is to help others discover similar coping mechanisms and insights.

In addition to her counselling practice, Kate serves as a school counsellor at two schools in Evesham, supporting young people in their educational environments.
