About Jamie

With over 17 years of experience in social care, Jamie has worked extensively with looked-after children, young people and those at risk of or are not in education, employment or training (NEETS). In addition, Jamie has over 4 years’ experience offering talk-therapy within educational establishments (Primary, Secondary & Higher Education). This backdrop provides Jamie with a deep understanding of complex challenges young people can face and the importance of feeling understood, respected and supported. Jamie’s practice draws from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models, whilst ensuring sessions are client-led, flexible and tailored to the individual. If you are considering counselling for yourself or a young person, you don’t need to have everything figured out. Taking the first step is enough.

Jamie offers a calm, non-judgmental space across two sites in Nottingham, (NG1 & NG7) for in-person counselling (and online), where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at their own pace.
