Having worked in schools for over 8 years, Hayley has a wealth of theoretical knowledge and practical experience working in a supportive role with neurodivergent individuals. Hayley herself is neurodivergent and has first-hand experience of the challenges this can bring and recognises how easy it is to focus on the deficits. Therefore, when working with her neurodivergent clients Hayley supports them to validate their emotions and the experiences, they found difficult; yet an integral part of her neurodivergent-affirming practice is to help clients recognise their many strengths and talents so to develop their sense of belonging, self-worth and confidence.
Hayley is a qualified Counselling Supervisor and works with adult supervisees who work therapeutically with children and adolescents, adults, and couples.
