Integrative Therapist supporting adults and young people with anxiety, trauma, abuse, relationships, and life challenges in a safe and compassionate space.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. They may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, trauma, or the impact of past experiences. Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand oneself more deeply.
Faidra is a therapist and psychotherapist who works with adults and young people aged 16+. She aims to provide a warm, calm, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.
Her approach is integrative, drawing from person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and attachment theory. This allows her to tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that every person’s experiences and needs are unique.
Through therapy, she aims to help clients develop greater self-awareness, build confidence, and find healthier ways of coping with life’s difficulties.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has completed both a Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Faidra is registered with BACP. She is currently in the final stages of completing her Master’s degree and is working towards professional accreditation.
Alongside her therapeutic work, Faidra has many years of experience working within the NHS. In her most recent role as an Employment Specialist, she supports people in moving towards meaningful and sustainable employment, gaining valuable insight into how mental health can impact different areas of life.
Areas she Often Supports Clients With:
- Trauma and childhood trauma
- Domestic abuse and sexual abuse
- Loss, grief and bereavement
- Anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges
- Relationship difficulties
- Life transitions and identity changes
Her professional experience within the NHS and her work supporting individuals into meaningful employment have also given her a deeper understanding of how mental health can impact confidence, identity, and day-to-day life.
Finding the right therapist is important, and clients deserve to feel comfortable and understood. Faidra believes that a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship can create the foundation for meaningful change and personal growth.
If you feel that she may be the right fit for you, she would be very happy to hear from you.
