Ellie is compassionate and non-judgmental which enables a safe space to be created where you are free to explore your feelings and difficulties. 

She uses a person-centred approach alongside other modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and mindfulness techniques to tailor her sessions to meet your individual needs and wants. Her aim is to support you in developing skills and techniques to increase overall wellbeing. Ellie has experience with working with all age groups. 

Ellie holds a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care and is currently completing her MSc in Counselling to further develop her understanding of mental health. Continuing professional development through supervision and research to keep up to date within the counselling field. 

Throughout her life, she has worked within the Health and Social Care sector where she has experience of working with a variety of people from different backgrounds, ages, and beliefs. By doing so it has enabled her to have a wider insight into people’s homes and lives. At a young age she has experienced loved ones with mental health challenges which has increased the empathetic and understanding she shows towards the people she works with.
