Divya’s therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect. She is committed to working in an evidence-based and client-centred manner, supporting individuals to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their therapy journey.
Divya is currently training at a Masters level in Intergrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Derby, having previously completed her Bachelor’s degree at Derby University in 2022. As part of her professional training, she delivers an integrative approach, combining modalities of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred Approach and Attachment Theory with My Solution Wellbeing, working under regular clinical supervision in line with best practice guidelines.
She is a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and is dedicated to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Divya places strong emphasis on reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
Divya brings valuable experience from working with SEN students in an independent school, supporting individuals facing a range of social and emotional challenges. She has also worked alongside a multi-disciplinary team, broadening her understanding of diverse needs and effective supportive interventions.
