How Aman Works
Aman works using a person-centred approach, adapting each session to the individual’s needs, pace, and preferences. Some sessions focus on open conversation, while others use more structured or creative activities. She often incorporates visual and practical tools such as anxiety clouds, coping umbrellas, emotional backpacks, and supportive hand exercises to help individuals explore their thoughts and feelings in an accessible way.
Her work is informed by narrative, CBT-informed, mindfulness, and creative approaches, allowing sessions to remain flexible and collaborative.

Aman has experience supporting children and young people aged 8 -20 with a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs in educational and wellbeing-focused settings. This includes supporting individuals with anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, and neurodiversity, including autism, dyslexia, and ADHD.
She works within appropriate professional boundaries, offering emotional support in a safe, ethical, and supportive manner, with a strong awareness of safeguarding and confidentiality.
