Alicja is currently studying Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Derby. As part of her professional training, she delivers psychotherapy for adults at My Solution Wellbeing, working under regular individual and peer supervision to ensure safe, ethical, and reflective practice.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and non-judgemental. She is committed to creating a space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely understood. Working integratively, she draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Person-Centred Therapy. Through CBT, she supports clients in understanding and changing unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns. Using Attachment Theory, she helps clients explore how relational patterns and early experiences may influence their present relationships. From a Person-Centred perspective, she values genuineness, empathy, and unconditional positive regard as the foundation of therapeutic change.
She believes that small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful and lasting transformation, and she works at a pace that aligns with each client’s goals and values.
As a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), Alicja adheres to professional and ethical standards and is dedicated to ongoing personal and professional development.
She works with adults aged 18+ and has experience supporting clients with:
- Mood disorders and depression
- Anxiety disorders, including persistent anxiety and tension
- Low self-esteem and confidence difficulties
- Relationship challenges, including romantic relationships, family dynamics, communication difficulties, and attachment-related patterns
- Emotional crises and sudden life transitions
- Personal development and self-growth
Alicja works collaboratively with each client, supporting them in building insight, resilience, and practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
